As of 2020 all teachers registered as Foreign Experts (in your case a Teacher) for the purposes of teaching English (Spoken) are required to hold and provide a recognised 120 Hour TEFL Certificate.
As such, China International Schools.Program (CISP) have directed many of our teachers to the certificate course and website below.
We have chosen this course for a number of reasons, primarily:
– Relatively low cost
– Practical nature of the course and relevance to the Chinese classroom and context
– It is an internationally accredited course
– Certificate is able to be notarised and legalised worldwide for the purposes of obtain Chinese Z Working Visa documentation prior to entry into China
– Has excellent feedback from our teachers that have completed the course
In light of the above, we encourage teachers to move forward and register on the site and move your way through the course material and modules – it is free to register and complete the course.
On successful application to CISP and once you have completed the course and final exams – we will contact the TEFL Course provider and pay for your hardcopy 120 Hour TEFL Certificate and request the TEFL school express courier the original document to you.
